Yesterday, we reviewed the best slippers for women. Today we’ll be reviewing the best memory foam slippers for men!

No one should have to be subjected to the horror that is getting out of bed and stepping barefoot onto a cold tile or hardwood floor. Not men, not women: no one. It’s a pain I wouldn’t even wish on my my hated enemies.

In the colder months, memory foam slippers can provide men with the warmth and comfort around their feet that you simply don’t get with even thicker socks. In the warmer months, they still add a very supportive cushioned base.  For anyone that has experienced the indoor house slipper life, I’m sure you can agree: slippers are way better.

And for those that haven’t considered indoor slippers before, trust me when I say that nothing keeps your toes, soles, and arches more toasty and comfortable than a nice, plush interior lining around your entire foot. Memory foam bottoms make them even more cushy to walk around from room to room in, too.

Because I’m sure you’d like for your feet to be toasty and comfortable throughout all of the fall and winter months, I’ve got you covered. I’ve tried out some of the most comfortable — and budget friendly! — memory foam slippers for men, and ranked the best ones below.

Memory Foam Slippers for Men: Reviews

First and foremost, we have this pair of moccasin-like memory foam slippers by Dimore. The company Dimore isn’t very well known for their slippers, and only a handful of their products are even shoes at all. But don’t let that discourage you. The few slippers that they do have are some of the most comfy that we tried on.

This particular pair of moccasin mens’ memory foam slippers was by far our favorite out of all of them. There are a few reasons for this, but the most prominent is the plush interior lining. Shockingly enough, interior linings of memory foam slippers for men are somewhat lacking compared to the options that women have. Luckily, that’s not an issue with this one. The plush lining is comfy enough to wear all winter without even needing socks, if desired.

Secondly, the rubber soles are another great point to bring up. They’re fairly thick and sturdy. This makes them great for both indoor and outdoor use, but if you wish to keep them as clean and durable as possible, then we’d still recommend only using them indoors.

Next, the moccasin design makes them look a tad more rugged than traditional slippers. While many men won’t care how they look and instead prioritize comfort over all (which I can also get behind), there are some who want to have a decent pair of slippers on while guests are around. The moccasin looks are a perfectly acceptable aesthetic in these sorts of scenarios.

One potential drawback to some is that they’re only available in the light brown or tan-ish coloring shown above. Some men prefer colorful options, and others only wear black after all!

Major Features to Note

  • Slippers currently only come in the color shown above.
  • Every pair of moccasin slippers comes with a plus interior lining that helps trap additional heat in.
  • They can be used both indoors and outdoors. If you want to keep them clean and increase how long they last you, we strongly recommend keeping them to indoor use only.
  • Sizes range from US men’s size 7.5 to 13.
  • No socks are necessary to slip these on and start feeling nice and toasty.
  • Dense memory foam bottoms provide additional padding while walking around your home.

Pros

  • The plush interior lining makes your feet feel luxurious without the slippers having a luxurious price tag
  • Moccasin design appeals to lots of men
  • Excellent ability to trap heat in the slippers, providing additional warmth during the colder months

Cons

  • Only come in the color shown above, which may be a deal breaker to some

Second on the list goes to ULTRAIDEAS for their amazing plush-lined men’s memory foam slippers. For those who read our reviews of the best memory foam slippers for women, you may remember the women’s version of this pair of slippers being the overall best pick. Surprise! It’s a fantastic option for men as well.

The slippers are nearly identical to the women’s version in everything but sizing. Thus, they share all of the pros and cons of those slippers.

To recap, the best feature of these men’s memory foam slippers is definitely the interior lining. With many memory foam slippers intended for men completely lacking any interior lining at all, they’re one of the few out there that have it. And a very significant amount of interior lining at that, too. It’s plush, faux-wool material that completely envelops your feet and feels great from the moment you slide them in.

Otherwise, they have all of the features you’d want in your memory foam slippers. They’re fairly durable. They can be used for short walks indoors and (minimally) outdoors. Materials used throughout the shoe are thick and cozy, despite the slippers being very lightweight. And the memory foam padding of course adds adequate amounts of cushion to every step.

As with the women’s variant, however, the only downside I can personally think of is the fact that every single size tends to run a little on the small side. I strongly recommend sizing up if you decide to go with these men’s memory foam slippers.

Major Features to Note

  • They come in four separate, dark colors to choose from.
  • Every pair includes very thick faux-wool plush padding, and memory foam padding on the bottom.
  • Sizes range from men’s size 7 to 14.
  • Thick and cozy materials that add a lot of comfort without adding a lot of weight on your feet.

Pros

  • Interior lining is one of the best across all of the slippers available
  • Very cozy and plush place for your feet!
  • Four separate color designs to choose from
  • Memory foam padding is fairly solid

Cons

  • Tend to run on the small side, so you’ll definitely want to consider going with a size up

Reappearing on the list already at number three, Dimore takes the third slot on the list of best men’s memory foam slippers as well. I told you already that Dimore makes some great slippers, didn’t I?

Whereas the moccasin design of theirs at number one went with a plush interior, this pair instead uses fluffy fleece interior lining to get the job done. Combine that with layers of memory foam, rubber, and addition cushioned padding, and you have one of the softest feeling interiors of any slipper out there.

The fleece lining does wonders for keeping your feet warm and comfortable throughout the fall and winter. Like the plush interior of the previous two, it operates in much the same way. However, it’s noticeably softer when you’re wearing these slippers in comparison.

In addition, the memory foam included is one of the thicker options available out there, at a total of five millimeters. When you add the rubber and additional cushion into the mix, you get a pair of slippers that is noticeably less “flat” than other men’s memory foam slippers.

Aesthetically, they’re also as pleasing to look at as the moccasin design of theirs is. I know that this is one of those “eye of the beholder” things, but I’m sure many of you out there will agree with me, too.

Major Features to Note

  • Two color designs to choose from this time around: grey and black.
  • Fleece interior lining and layered cushions makes this slipper the softest available option we tried.
  • Memory foam bottom padding is somewhat thicker than other memory foam slippers we tried, and, when combined with other cushioning, leads to a much less flat slipper in comparison.
  • Sizes range from men’s size 7 to 14.

Pros

  • Thick bottom padding makes these memory foam slippers much less flat than other ones
  • Fleece lined interior combined with the padding makes for a very soft-feeling pair of slippers
  • Two color schemes to choose from depending on your preference

Cons

  • May run small for some people; if in doubt, go with a size up

The fourth addition to the list and our pick for the most standard in both design and features goes to HomeIdeas. This particular pair of men’s memory foam slippers provides a no-nonsense approach to the guys who just want the bare minimum features.

To start, all of the color designs are basic two-tone. This makes them great for anyone who wants a low-profile pair of house slippers that doesn’t stand out.

Secondly, the slippers do not have any additional interior lining, unlike the previous three options. For those who wish to wear thicker socks, this may be a better option for you. Lining can get in the way and prevent you from wearing anything but thinner socks otherwise.

Finally, the memory foam padding is pretty soft and adequate. It’s not the thickest option available, and it’s not the thinnest. For some people, this could be a problem. For others, thicker padding isn’t their preference either.

Sadly, like so many other house slippers, they are on the small side. If you have large or wide feet, or are on the cusp of being another size, I strongly recommend choosing a size up if you’d like to go with these memory foam slippers.

Major Features to Note

  • Six different two-tone no-nonsense memory foam slipper colors to choose from.
  • Fairly decent amount of memory foam padding included in each, though it’s not the thickest option around.
  • No interior lining included. What you see is what you get.
  • Sizes range from men’s size 7 to 14.

Pros

  • Can be easily worn with thicker socks due to the lack of interior lining
  • Memory foam isn’t the thickest, but it’s comfortable enough and still thicker than thinner options out there
  • Simplistic colors and design can be a plus to many people

Cons

  • May need to size up if you have wider or larger feet
  • Lack of interior lining makes these slippers require socks if you want your feet to be completely warm

Next, we have the only name brand company to appear on the list. These moccasin slippers are made by Dockers, and are another great option for many men out there.

First of all, let’s talk about the interior lining of the memory foam slippers. If you look close enough, you can see that the outer wall of the inner shoe is lined fully in a somewhat dense plush foam material. This increases the comfort of the shoe as a whole, but unfortunately is not as great in terms of warmth as the first few slippers on the list with dedicated interior lining included inside them.

Next, the memory foam bottoms are also, of course, in the shoe as well. They’re fairly adequate and do the job well enough. The memory foam is not very thick, however. Even compared to some of the cheaper options, these Dockers men’s memory foam slippers don’t really stand out too much in the memory foam department.

One thing that I really don’t like about this pair of slippers is the fact that the bottom of the shoe is nearly completely flat. There are raised circles on the bottom to help avoid sliding around on hardwood, but they’re not very prominent and don’t do the job well. Many of the cheaper, less known brands have far superior bottoms that assist in dealing with this issue, so I’m not sure why the name brand option doesn’t do it adequately. Due to this, I’d recommend only deciding on these shoes if you must absolutely go with a name brand, or have mostly carpeted flooring.

Shortcomings aside, it’s still not a bad pair of slippers over all. I feel like other pairs are better, but many men disagree, and maybe this pair might be the one you love.

Major Features to Note

  • Three color schemes to choose from.
  • Every pair has an adequate amount of memory foam padding, and a plush outer wall interior, but no additional lining.
  • Sizes range from men’s size 9 to 13.

Pros

  • Memory foam moccasins look great
  • Three different color options
  • Made by a household name in attire, shoes, and other products

Cons

  • Will likely slide around on hardwood, laminated, and tiled floors
  • More expensive than cheaper options that may have more features

Lastly, we have the final addition of men’s memory foam slippers. These particular slippers are made by RockDove, one of the most prominent online manufacturers of indoor and outdoor slippers since the early 2000s.

This particular pair of slippers was chosen for the list due to being one of the only that can be used year long. Many other slippers have interior linings, plush centers, and other warmth-adding features that are not intended for anything beyond the cooler months. The RockDove memory foam slippers here, however, have breathable fabric that allows them to be used indoors and outdoors no matter how warm it is.

In addition, the memory foam used is some of the best out of all the low-end budget slippers. It’s not too thick and not too thin, and leaves you feeling you have just enough support.

However, there are two downsides that I have to mention about this particular pair of memory foam slippers. Firstly, they’re yet another pair that tends to be on the small size. If you are going to wear socks with them or are on the upper end of any of their sizes, I would recommend sizing up.

Secondly, even when sizing up, there isn’t a lot of room in the slippers when you wear socks. While this might not seem like the biggest problem, it can be. If you’re going to wear thicker socks in the colder months, then you may run into issues, for example. Other slippers tend to be better for anywhere with fairly cold winters.

Major Features to Note

  • Six different two-tone color options to choose from depending on what your favorites are.
  • No interior lining or anything to promote warmth further beyond body heat.
  • Breathable fabric makes them a great choice for spring and summer months.
  • Sizes range from men’s size 5 to 14.

Pros

  • When it gets warmer, you likely can still wear these slippers in anything but the highest heat
  • Memory foam is great for the price point
  • Six different color options

Cons

  • Likely will have to size up, as they tend to run small
  • Other slippers are probably better for the winter months in colder areas
